COURSE OUTLINE

This course focuses on developing basic practical knowledge of bricklaying, paving and retaining systems and includes the following: 

1. Garden Walls – 3 Days

2. Paving – 3 Days

3. Retaining Systems – 3 Days

4. Packing up materials and certificate presentation.

COURSE DETAIL

Day 1 (a)       Mixing of mortar.

                        Laying bricks between the profile using stretcher bond half bricks wall.

Day 2 (b)       Building one brick wall between profiles.

Day 3 (c)       Building face brick walls between the profiles in one brick wall.

Day 4 (a)       Preparation of paving area.

Day 5 (b)       Laying of clay brick or concrete pavers.

Day 6 (c)       Lay paving in different patterns designing with cobbles.

Day 7 (a)       Preparation of laying retaining systems.

Day 8 (b)       Laying Terra force blocks in trenches.

Day 9 (c)       Laying Terra force and Geolock blocks in different patterns.

Day 10 (d)    Cleaning up, packing materials and certificate presentation.
